Artist's Description

View of the Downtown Skyport at the intersection of Wall Street and South Street on the East River, New York, New York, 1937. The skyport, where Grumman and Fairchild amphibious planes are moored, serves Wall Street commuters coming into Manhattan. The tall building at right is the 120 Wall St. office building while the tiered building at left is the Cities Services Building.
