Artist's Description

American actress Julie Harris strikes a pose in costume to play the role of Sally Bowles in the Broadway drama 'I Am a Camera,' written and directed by John Van Druten and based on 'The Berlin Stories' by Christopher Isherwood, in her dressing room at the Empire Theatre, Manhattan, New York, New York, late 1951. Harris won a Tony award for her performance in the role.
