Description
A scientist holds up two sheets of Polaroid, a transparent sheet of plastic used to regulate light developed by the Polaroid Corporation, to demonstrate the properties of the plastic; this innovation is intended to be used to help reduce the glare of car headlights after dark. In this demonstration, the sheets are held so that the slots in the plastic are parallel to one another which allows light to pass through unobstructed.
